With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Amaral of Somerset, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manny Amaral and Rose Amaral. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Natalie Litos and Larry Viera. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John of God Church (1036 Brayton Ave, Somerset, MA 02726). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
