We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2024, Eva Furtado of Somerset, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eva farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eva is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Furtado; and her parents, Antonio Paiva and Liduina Paiva (Roderigues). She is survived by: her sister-in-law Madeline Paiva; her goddaughter Lena Berard (Ferro); and her nephew Charles Bettencourt. She is also survived by four Godchildren, a niece, and two nephews.
