It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David McElroy of Somerset, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Medeiros and Elizabeth Ann McElroy (Megna); and his brother John McElroy. He is survived by: his wife Joanne L. McElroy (Holt); his children, David McElroy Jr. (Tianna) of Fall River and Sierra McElroy (Wyatt) of Somerset; his siblings, Melissa, Kim Medeiros, Mark, Theresa Medeiros, Linda Courville, Debra Donavan McElroy, Michael McElroy (Kim Medeiros), Patrick McElroy, Nina, Joe Matton, Nicole Courville, Keith, Kim McElroy and Kerry McElroy; and his grandsons, David McElroy III and Devon Medeiros Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles.
They spent a lot of time since Covid, building up their video game characters and going on fantastic adventures together.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to David's family to help with his funeral expenses.
