She was predeceased by: her parents, William Neilan and Anita Neilan (Durand); and her brother William Neilan Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Louis "Butch" E. Chagnon; her sons, Michael Chagnon (Lisa), Steven Chagnon (Denise) and Richard Chagnon (Jo-Anne); her grandchildren, Holly Gagnon (Eric), Chris Chagnon (Sarah), Nicole Spear (Collin), Philip Chagnon Kailey (Erin Mulvey) and Sydney Chagnon; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Nora, Ella, Kamden and Konnor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
