She was predeceased by: her husband Charles F. "Charlie" Smith, Jr.; her sons, Steven C. and Glenn J. Smith; and her parents, Joseph A. and Olive M. Girouard (Drisdelle).

She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie M. Carelli (Timothy) of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren, Alyssa M. Lubanski (Michael) of Westport, CT, Ryan C. Carelli of New Jersey and Brielle M. Carelli of Shrewsbury; and her great grandchild Tate Charles Lubanski.
