She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph H. Saunders; her son-in-law Peter J. Walsh; her sister Dorcas M. Layport; and her parents, Percy Marsaw and Mabel Marsaw (Ballou).
She is survived by: her children, Pamela B. Sklut (Daniel G.) of Dunbarton, NH, Deborah R. Walsh of St. Cloud, FL, Christine L. Besaw (Michael) of Shrewsbury, Mathew S. Saunders (Jennifer Rizzi) of Bellingham, Jennifer L. Saunders of Shrewsbury and Heather A. Saunders of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren, Mark D. Sklut (Amanda), Brian T. Sklut (Erica), Zachary Besaw, Rachel Besaw, Hannah Besaw and Kacey Walsh; her great grandchildren, Emilia, Eloise and Isabella Sklut; and her sisters, Patricia LaBranche and Penelope Denechaud. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury Avis Kemp and Olson Scholarship Funds.
