With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel McGann of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Owen A. McGann Jr. A. He is survived by: his mother Gail E. McGann (Brosky) of Shrewsbury; his brother Daniel (Erica); his friends, Auburn, Owen McGann III of Leominster, John McGann of Maynard and Chase McGann of Rutland; his sister Briana R. Lowell (Dimitri) of Barre; his nieces and nephews, Conner, Ryder, Cameron, Amber and Ashley; and his friends, Lance and Tom of Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 309 Belmont Street Worcester, MA 01604 in memory of Samuel.

“I am so sorry for your loss. I am Zachary Burnham's grandmother, Sam & Zach were very good friends through high school, always hanging out together. Sam used to call me Nanie like he was part of the family. He was very funny and very polite and I was their taxi driver. He will always have a place in my heart, he will be missed. Yvette Burnham”
