He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael F. Higgins and Mary Higgins (Fleming); his significant other Patricia Higgins (Mills); his sons, Christopher Higgins (Jill) of Framingham and Michael Higgins (Denise) of Auburn; and his cousin Debbie Verdini. He was also cherished by grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A procession was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St Peters Church (931 Main St, Worcester, MA 01610). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Peter's Church (931 Main St, Worcester, MA 01610).
