She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest S. Caird and Mabel Caird (Charest); her husband Dr. Gerald E. Bowen; and her grandson Connor Dowd. She is survived by: her children, David C. Bowen (Paula) of Cumberland, RI and Joan M. Dowd (Gregory) of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren, Alexandra Bowen Greenfield (Allen), Julia Bowen (Sean Buckley), Hannah Dowd, Brendan Dowd and Andrew Dowd; and her brother George Caird of Colebrook, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Mary's Parish.
