She was predeceased by: her parents, Aida Ellms (Eckerstrom) and Ralph Ellms; her siblings, Carol Ellms and George Ellms; her brother-in-law Colonel Robert Samia (Ret); and her daughter-in-law Ellen Samia (Donovan).
She is survived by: her husband Roger G. Samia; her daughter Karen S. Benway (Charles); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew and Matthew of Boston; her son Steven E. Samia (Deborah); her grandchildren, Alexis Vigeant (Kevin), Mariah Gumienny (Adrian), Lauryn and Paige of Dudley; her son John R. Samia (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Micaela, Thomas and Catherine of Shrewsbury; and her sister-in-law Barbara Ellms of Spencer. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
