She was predeceased by: her husband John Colonies; her grandson Brian Colonies; her brothers, Lawrence and Ralph Kershaw; her parents, Ralph K. and Mary E. Kershaw (O'Connor); and her close friend Margie Hopewell.
She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Colonies (Jeannine) of Sutton, Elaine M. Beaushene of Mechanicsville, VA and James C. Colonies (Patricia) of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren, Steven James Colonies, Eldon J. Colonies (Kristin), Arlanna Colonies, Daniel Riendeau (Stephanie), Gabrielle Medina (Cody), Zachary Colonies (Tasia Kellogg), Jessica Dietch (Daniel) and Robert Beaushene (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, James, Patrick, Jackson, Isabelle, Sean, Aubrey and Christopher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
