It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo F. McManus of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Lilly McManus; his parents, Kathryn McManus and Leo McManus Sr.; and his siblings, Mary McManus Morin, Paul McManus, George McManus and Edward McManus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carey A Kozlowski (John) of Auburn, Erin Motameni (Essie Motameni) of Boylston, Maureen P. Umphrey (James) of Northboro and Tara M. Doyle (Robert) of Glastonbury; and his grandchildren, David Motameni (Monika), Lisa Motameni, Julie Kozlowski, Jay, Tim, Caitlin, Matthew Umphrey, Joseph, Kathryn and Clare Doyle.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (353 Grove St, Worcester, MA 01605). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St Bernard's Cemetery (96 Goodrich St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
