It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurene Therese Corey (Shrewsbury, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Corey and Virginia M. Corey (Bourgeois); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Walker, Donna Corey (Caito) and Peter Hopkins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Walker, James Corey, Kathleen Hopkins, Margaret Gould and Diane Tonelli; her brother-in-law Richard Tonelli; her stepmother Barbara Corey; and her aunts, Carole and Pat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews- and their spouses and partners, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (648 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (640 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery (22 Boylston St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).
