He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sheila Current and Susan Current Milam (Jack); his brother-in-law Olen F. King of Danbury; and his parents, Billie Luin and Lovie Mae Current (Williams).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Current (King); his sons, John L. Current Jr. (Caroline) of Shrewsbury, Matthew T. Current of Yarmouthport and Daniel C. Current (Heather) of Shrewsbury; his granddaughters, Chloe of Shrewsbury, Lylah of Shrewsbury, Hannah of Shrewsbury and Macey of Shrewsbury; his sister Kay Current McMillan (Jim) of Statesville, NC; and his close friends, Debbie and Moe Tardy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
