It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne (LeBlanc) Bates of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Bates; her children, Jeanne, Christine Tonelli (Shion Philbert), Nicolas Bates (Kathleen Shaffer) of Melrose and Richard E. Bates (Kellee Kores) of Leicester; her sisters, Geraldine Hoose of Worcester, Janice Sokol of Worcester, Annette Mitchell of Charlton and Christine Bahde of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren, Rino Tonelli, Zachary Bates, Joseph O'Brien and Pheonix Bates; and her extended family, Marion P. Calabrese and Barbara J. Donahue. She is also survived by her sisters and friends.
