He is survived by: his wife Helena Ellis (Spaneas); his children, James N. Ellis, Jr., Nicholas J. Ellis (Katherine), Sabrina Ellis of Boston and Lora Ellis (Gary Morgan) of West Boylston; his brother John N. Ellis of Worcester; and his grandchildren, Anne Elizabeth, Christopher and Nicholas Ellis.
