With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Morse Jr. of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George A. Morse Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his close friend Joan Rocco (Eident); his siblings, Harry Morse and Doris Files; and his parents, George A. Morse and Viola I. Morse (Merriam).
He is survived by: his stepsons, Stephen J. Rocco (Deborah) of Shrewsbury and Glenn S. Rocco (Kara) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Maria Rocco, Andrea Rocco (Evan), Deana Rocco, Gianna Rocco and Lea Rocco; and his great grandchild Charlotte Racine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
