He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma C. Gray (Eccleston) and Ralph C. Gray Movers; his wife Marie; his daughter Robin Butman Gray; and his sister Virginia Bartlett.

He is survived by: his children, Donna M. Gray-Hanc (David) of Jefferson, Peter D. Gray of Shrewsbury, Cindy Gray Eckert (Jim Emmons) of Deland, Diane J. Gray of Whittier and Brian C. Gray (Cathy) of Saco, Maine; his grandchildren, Harmony Eckert, Angel Eckert, Jocelyn Hanc (Megan Marlow), Zachary Ferguson (Sydney), Ryan Hanc (Morgan), Emily Gray, Shaina Ferguson and Erin Gray; and his great grandchildren, Willow, Alek, Andromeda, Kingston and Jaxon. He is also survived by sixteen nieces & nephews.

A wake will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (19 Church Rd, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Mountain View Cemetery (22 Boylston St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).
