She was predeceased by: her father Jerry A. Gallo. She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Akerson; her children, Karen E. Hession (John) of Westborough, Mark D. Akerson (Cheryl) of Shrewsbury, Michael J. Akerson (Lisa) of Sterling and Kathy A. Catania (late Frank Catania) of Barnstable; her grandchildren, Molly, Patrick, Maria, Chris, Kevin, Caroline, Michael and William; and her sisters, Jayne Mong (Paul) of Worcester and Barbara Clem (Jon) of Oxford. She is also survived by her father and sisters visiting relatives.
