Anthony N. Pennucci Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony N. Pennucci of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 87. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Anthony may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dominic Pennucci and Grace Paquette; and his parents, Nicola Pennucci and Frances Pennucci (Perna). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Pennucci (Fell); his sister Margaret Corda of Grafton; his sister-in-law Joan McManus of Northbridge; his niece Francine R. DiRoberto of Millbury; and his nephew Anthony. He is also survived by care-giver; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St, Worcester, MA 01606.
