It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jannette I. (Henkel) Forest of Shirley, Massachusetts, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her parents, Harold Henkel and Mabelle Henkel (Brown); her children, Karen Zaher and Jeff Forest; her grandson Daniel Barratt; and her brother Harold Henkel Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Barratt (Curt) of Hampton, NH, Ken Forest (Diane) of Chelmsford, Tom Forest (Jessica) of Chelmsford and Julie Gyles (Bob) of Shirley; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa, Allison, Joanna, Justin, Jessica, Alex, Derek and Elizabeth.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
