She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Elizabeth Zeiss (Michael) of New Canaan, CT; her granddaughter Madeline Zeiss of Manhattan; her husband William Ternes; her daughter Catherine Brechner of Newburyport, MA; her grandson Nicholas Zeiss of Brooklyn, NY.; and her parents, Dr. John Francis and Frances Regan (Haagensen).

“Hello Cathy and Liz, Your Mom was always so gracious. I remember running into her in Sherborn after your Dad died and she seemed to be holding her own at such a difficult time in her life. My oldest sister Julie, my Dad and I went on a horse back riding trip in Ireland back in 1986 and Pat was a part of that group. It was a riotous time and your Mom was always so warm and pulled together. I will miss knowing that she was just down the street. She will be missed, Sincerely, Peggy Homer”
