She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Devaney and Bridie T. Devaney (Reddington); and her brother William. She is survived by: her husband John A. Carten; her children, Eileen Daniels (Paul), Stephen J. Carten (Retha), Brian P. Carten, Patricia A. Schmedel (Richard K.), Kathleen M. Carten of Sherborn and Amy M. Toronto (Paul) of Falmouth; her brother John Devaney; her grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Samantha, Jennifer, Matthew, Katherine, Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Richard and Hannah; and her great grandchildren, Tarah, Tori, Kadance and Aubrey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
