He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce K Canney; and his parents, John J Canney and Marjorie Canney. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Abbi" Pugh Canney of Sherborn; his daughter Katherine Canney; his daughter-in-law Jude Zmolek of Sherborn; his son Christopher Canney; his daughter-in-law Mary Klecan; his grandchildren, Theodore, Charles, Josephine and Ruth of Holliston; his brother John F Canney of Cohasset; his son Chris; and his nephew Isaac.
