He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy M. Sieswerda (Hilton) of Staten Island. He is survived by: his wife Jana (Karpfova); his father Paul L. Sieswerda; his brothers, Paul J. Sieswerda (Lindsay) and Stephen Sieswerda; his nephews, Canon, Emory and Paul; his parents-in-law, Zdenka Karpfova and Frantisek Karpf; and his godson Canon. He is also survived by loving aunts and cousins.
