With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta P. Purington (Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts), born in Colrain, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Herzig, and Eva Herzig, Sr. (Giard); her husband Roger Purington, Sr.; her son John Purington; and her siblings, Wallace Herzig and Leah Herzig.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Purington, Jr. of Buckland, Kevin Purington, Sr. of Monroe, MA, Darlene Corbeil of Shelburne Falls, Connie Sherman of Rowe and Barbara Dyer of Buckland; and her siblings, Howard Herzig of Pochahontas, VA, Carl Herzig of Colrain, Rudolph Herzig of Conway and Gloria Tatro of Colrain. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Roberta always enjoyed having lunch with a friend so in her memory, take a friend to lunch!
