He is survived by: his parents, Michael Flaherty and Beatrice Flaherty (Ebilhart); his wife Maureen Esip (Mo); his sons, Jonathan Flaherty (Julia Fiske) of Martha's Vineyard and Timothy Flaherty (Beth Martin) of Charlemont; and his grandchildren, Maeve, Liam Fiske, Patrick and Anna Flaherty.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway St., Greenfield, MA 01301.
