She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Sumner Wheeler; her parents, Harry S. Gordon and Rebecca Gordon (Markowitz); her daughters, Lynne Wheeler and Nancy Wheeler (Frank Marchica); her granddaughter Rachel Marchica; and her siblings, Irving Gordon, Eleanor Numberg and Helen Shapiro.
