He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Ejnar and Florence Harriet Hertzberg (Slaney); his wife Bertha Jean Hertzberg (Altobello); and his sister Nancy Correia. He is survived by: his children, Karen L. Rodgers (Mark) of West Glover, Richard E. Hertzberg Jr. (Rena) of Franklin and Paul A. Hertzberg (Phalla) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Christopher Karoleameas (Leticia) of Franklin, Brian E. Hertzberg of Franklin, Samantha Hertzberg of Brookline, Brandon Hertzberg of Charlotte, Brian Haskell of Providence and Adam Haskell of Franklin; and his great grandchildren, Mason Karoleameas and Jacob Tessier.
