With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michel George Méthot (Sharon, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Michel George has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Méthot and Vivian M. Méthot (Grenier); and his siblings, Helene Araujo and Francis Methot. He is survived by: his wife Louise Beatrice Dumont (Dumont); his siblings, Normand Methot (late Sandy) of Hamden, Marthe-Marie Meadows (late Paul) of Oneonta and Paul Methot (Diane) of Westport; and his siblings-in-law, Marcel Dumont (Maria) of Dartmouth and Jeannine Muldoon (late James) of Amherst. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, four great nieces, four great nephews, Godchildren, and extended relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (59 Cottage St, Sharon, MA 02067). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
