She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Saul Allen and Sara Allen (Cohen); her husband Joseph H. Kalus; her children, Steven Kalus (Kelly) and Pamela Tinker (Edward); her siblings, Milton Allen, Beatrice Prolman, Muriel Berger and Charlotte Volinn; her grandchildren, Laura Siff (Evan), Lisa Santhana (Vivek), Ashley Weinzweig (Jeffrey) and Carley Turner (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Leo, Lillian, Tyler, Luke, Logan and Sloane.
