He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thomas and Elizabeth Rita Thomas (Fallon); and his sister Rita Fontes. He is survived by: his children, John Thomas, Jr. of Foxborough, Ed Thomas of Foxborough and Christine Thomas (Mike Smith) of Blackstone; his grandchildren, Breanna, Andrew, Kori and Nicholas; his great grandchild Jayce; his close friend Cathy Cronin of Sharon; his siblings, Carol Collett (William) of Brockton, Francis Thomas, Donna Mancini and Martin Thomas; and also Linda Carroll.
