He was predeceased by: his parents, William Colclough and Myrtle Colclough (Gaudreau). He is survived by: his wife Sharon M. Colclough (Wolfenden); his sons, John J "Jack" Colclough, Jr. (Penny), Jeffrey P. Colclough (Wanda) and Christopher L. Colclough (Connie); his grandchildren, Kate, Rose, Kimberly, Nicholas, Corey, Carolann, Kendall, Kylee and Maddox; his former wife Carol Colclough; and his brothers, Billy Colclough, Tommy Colclough and Jimmy Colclough. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
