He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester M. Bass and Ruth Bass (Reiser). He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Bass (Swartz); his children, Edie Lynn Tonis (Brian) and Michael Bass (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Tonis, Jonathan Tonis, Benjamin Bass and Caroline Bass. He is also survived by family, he leaves nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Al's memory may be made to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
