He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; his sisters, Mary and Teresa Taraian; and his parents, Haiganoush Taraian (Agnes) and Barsam Taraian of Providence.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Kathleen), David (Lynette), Gary (Sonya) and Mikel (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Michelle (Colby), Peter Jr., Rachel, Sam, Harrison, Gary Jr. and Zachary.
