With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Stella Rose of Seekonk, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on January 27, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank S. Coelho and Emily T. Coelho (Grilo); her husband Louis S. Rose; and her sisters, Emily Rose and Gertrude Petrecca.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin L. Rose (Carol) of Chesapeake, VA and Kimberly M. Johnson (late John) of Seekonk, MA.; her sister Rosaline Mello of East Providence; and her grandchildren, Alexis Pelletier, Shane Cassidy (Tina Delmonaco), Victoria Rose, Elizabeth Rose (Matthew Avny), William Rose, Kelsey Johnson, Melissa Johnson and Kristian Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (21 Traverse St, Providence, RI 02903). A committal service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
