He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy J. Campbell; his parents, Gerard J. Fortin and Theresa Fortin (Seccareccia); his sons, Joseph G. Fortin Jr. (Diane) of Narragansett and Steven J. Fortin (Melissa) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Lily M., Lea C., Parker J. and Bennett M. Fortin; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Campbell Jr. and Robert Campbell.
