He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Sousa and Cristina Sousa (Mello); and his sibling-in-law Antoino Tavares. He is survived by: his spouse Eduarda B. Sousa (Botelho); his children, Paula C. Paluch (Edward) of Swansea and Jorge B. Sousa (Jodie) of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Tyler (Shelby), Wendy, Joshua, Nicholas and Abby; his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Kendall; and his sister Deolinda Tavares. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
