He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Smutek and Pauline M. Smutek (Petzold); and his brother Robert M. Smutek. He is survived by: his wife Nancy L Smutek (Wright); his children, Karen M. Tatsapaugh (Erik) of Greensboro, NC and Scott A. Smutek of Seekonk; his grandson Jonah Tatsapaugh; and his siblings, Pamela D. Meunier of Seekonk and Jeffrey J. Smutek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062 or the Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave., Seekonk, MA 02771 will be appreciated.
