He was predeceased by: his parents, Numeriano Valdepeñas and Ines Valdepeñas (Bernal); and his son LCpl Eric P. Valdepeñas. He is survived by: his wife Anne-Marie; his children, Edna-Anne Valdepeñas of Newtown, PA, Marie-Ines Valdepeñas of Woonsocket, RI, Nora-Jean Lough of Warwick, RI, Karen Ing of Lynnfield, MA, Teresa Jane Sheehan of Seekonk, MA, Sean Valdepeñas of Chapin, SC and Neil Valdepeñas of Phoenix, AZ; and his siblings, Gloria Lintao, Jane San José, Milagros Ramos, Romeo and Manuel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the LCpl Eric P. Valdepeñas Memorial Scholarship Fund at Bishop Hendricken High School or the Lance Corporal Eric Paul Valdepeñas Scholarship Fund at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts.
