He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Tanner (Lemonde); his parents, James Tanner and Elizabeth Tanner (Curry); his son James Tanner; and his siblings, Frances Corrigan, Marylee Preston, Elizabeth Goyette, Kathleen Verge and Edward Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Tanner and Jennifer Tanner (Jason Santos); his grandchildren, Jaime Tanner, Bryant Tanner, Fallon Gowans and Ivy Gowans; and his brother John Tanner.
