He was predeceased by: his parents, Imilio Benros and Rosinha Benros (Lima); his daughter Millie Lancellotti; and his sibling Mariazinha Benros. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Benros (Silva); his children, José Sergio Benros of Denmark, Carlos Benros of Spain, Filomena Benros of Portugal, Jorge Benros of Portugal, Abelo Benros of East Providence, Belarmino Benros of Cabo Verde, Olave Benros of Holland, Rosa Benros of East Providence, Alcinda Benros of Providence and Alexandre Benros of Cumberland; and his siblings, Afonso Benros, Leão Benros, Onorato Benros, Antonio Benros, Alexandre Paris, Carolina Benros, Margarida Benros, Tomas Benros and Jacinto Benros. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions and guidance from the Dept. of Health, the funeral service will be private.
