She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. "Dick" Vermette; her parents, Arthur Coffey and Ellen Coffey (Schenck); and her sister Maureen Coffey. She is survived by: her children, Bryan D. Vermette of Kasilof and Janet Anne Vermette; her grandchildren, Charlie and Mason Vermette; and her siblings, Arthur Coffey and Lynda Zartarian.

Calling hours will be held Friday 4-8 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellen's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Mount Carmel Church in Seekonk.
