He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Saunders (Proulx); his parents, Edward Saunders and Bertha Saunders (Peck); his grandson James McDonald; and his sibling Dale Saunders.
He is survived by: his significant other Jean Anderson; his children, Stephen Saunders (Judith) of Seekonk, Clifford Saunders (Kathleen Chapman) of Seekonk, Bruce E. Saunders, Jr. (Maryann) of Seekonk and Deborah Lapre (Stephen Kandarian) of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Joey, Jessica, Michael, Christine, Jamie and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Kassidy, Stephen and Ava. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
