It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne R. Hughes of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Thomas Hughes; her parents, Herbert J. Gray and Annie M. Gray (Smith); and her brother Kenneth Gray. She is survived by: her children, Mark Hughes (Karen) of West Dundee, IL, Cindy Hughes (Mary Ferguson) of Scituate, Massachusetts, David Hughes (Stacey) of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Malinda Curtis (Jonathan) of Blue Hill, Maine, Ellen Hughes of Blue Hill and Heather Hughes (Billy Thompson) of Holbrook, Massachusetts.; her grandchildren, Kate Vasquez, Tessa Hughes, Laurena Mott, Thomas Adams, Samantha Curtis, Nathaniel Curtis, Alden Hughes, Elliot Hughes and Owen Hughes; her great grandchildren, James and Avery Mott; her siblings, Norman Gray, Patricia Gaudet, Herbert Gray Jr., Dorothy MacGaregill, Arthur Gray and Lauretta Gray; and her sister-in-law Kay Gray. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
