He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila of Scituate; his children, Pamela Twyman of Scituate, Bryanna, Emily, Nick, Frances Mahoney of Scituate, Shauna (Kyle Arnold) of Scituate, Edward Twyman of Carver, Carey Twyman of Braintree and Peter Twyman of Manhattan, NY; and his significant other Jeffrey Colvin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
