He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ludwig Pearson and Madeline Pearson (MacDonald); his wife Maureen Pearson (Mohan); his children, Leslie Stuart (Marc) of Ludlow, VT, Richard (Denise) of Natick, Nancy MacIsaac (Gregory) of Scituate, David (Christina) of Rochester, NY, Stephen (Diane) of Larchmont, NY and Andrea Bersson (Brett) of Scituate; his grandchildren, Caroline, Erik, Gregory, Kyle, Christopher, Elizabeth, Anna, Lucas, Lainie, Madeline, Catherine, Ruby, Andrew, Jack and Claire; and his sister Lois Pearson (late Stuart Lauber) of Glenville, NY. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
