She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert J. Patterson, II; her parents, Donald MacDonald and Harriette MacDonald (Farrington); her brother Douglas; her son Gilbert J. Patterson, III; and her grandchild Shawn D. Patterson.
She is survived by: her brother Jerome MacDonald; her children, Douglas Patterson, Jill of Scituate, Richard Patterson, Pamela of Scituate, Robert Patterson, Patricia Patterson of Marshfield, William Ferry of Naples, FL, Thomas Patterson, Catherine Baggs of Scituate, James "Tucker" Patterson, Michelle of Scituate and Edward Patterson of Weymouth; her grandchildren, Katie, Matthew, Jeffrey, Robert, Rachel, Jamie, Shelby, Tucker, Sophie and Kristen; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Shawn, Owen of Tessa, JR, Kendall and Anthony. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
