He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Francis Vannata and Marie Lembo Vannata; his wife Jane Fitzpatrick; his children, Margaret Agnes Kenney (Tom Kenney) of Marshfield, Massachusetts, Michael Robert Vannata, Jr. (Debra Vannata) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Mary Kathleen Vannata of Plymouth, Massachusetts; his sister Rosemary LaConte of New Jersey; his grandsons, Sean Michael Vannata, Nolan Thomas Vannata and John Greggory Dumke (Jack); and his son Christopher Matthew Vannata (Jane Fitzpatrick Vananta).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in his honor to the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
