It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael C. Hayes (Scituate, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miriam F. Hayes (Comfrey) and Robert F. Hayes of Scituate; his children, Patrick Hayes (Nancy) of Scituate, Lucy Nesbet of Marshfield, Fred Hayes of Scituate and Heidi Hayes of Scituate; his siblings, Nancy Sweetser of Verona, Robert Hayes of Duxbury, Ellen Hayes of Scituate, Joseph Hayes (Kathleen) of Scituate, Elizabeth Schrader (Scott) of Aiken and Patricia Gordon (Richard) of Barrington; his granddaughters, Chelsea, Lena, June, Iris and Willow; and his former wife Judy Mulcahy of Scituate. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.
